Apple Skillet Cake Recipe

I've been making this apple skillet cake recipe for quite a few 

years now, because it's so fast and easy to make.

Apple Skillet Cake

1 1/2 c. self rising flour

3/4 c. sugar

1 egg

1 tsp. vanilla

2 apples chopped

1 c. nuts - chopped

1/2 c. oil (vegetable or canola)

Mix flour and sugar in a cast iron skillet. Add remaining ingredients.

Mix well and spread flat into the pan.
Bake 350* for 40 minutes.

This recipe also tastes really good with blackberries in place of the apples :)
